Product Description
Loctite SF 7100 (known as Loctite 7100) is an aqueous, surfactant-based aerosol that locates leaks in pressurised gas and compressed-air systems by forming bubbles where gas escapes. It is non-toxic and non-flammable, and is used to trace leaks in compressed air, helium, nitrogen and other pressurised gas lines and on pipework made of iron, copper or plastic. A practical maintenance critical spare for commissioning and fault-finding.
Technical Specifications
- Technology aqueous based; chemical type mixture of surfactants. Colourless, odourless. Dispense by spray; propellant nitrogen; non-toxic and non-flammable, no cure. Density @ 20 degC 1 g/ml. Viscosity DIN cup 4 approximately 10 seconds. Internal pressure @ 20 degC 8 bar. Delivery rate approximately 3 g/s. Operating range 10 degC to 50 degC. Directions
- spray onto the suspected joint or fitting; bubbles form where gas is leaking; wipe clean after testing. Pressurised aerosol -- do not expose above 50 degC, do not pierce or burn. PDF file (TDS) attached. 400 ml aerosol can.
