Loctite 542 is a one-component anaerobic thread sealant for the locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings, particularly fine threads such as those used on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. The thixotropic nature of the product reduces migration of liquid after application.

Compatibility
