Loctite 603 is a one-component anaerobic retaining compound for the bonding of cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where consistently clean surfaces cannot be assured. It is tolerant of minor surface contamination by industrial oils. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. Typical applications include retaining roller bearings or oil-impregnated bushings into housings.

Compatibility
Oil-tolerant high-strength retaining compound -- bonds where surfaces cannot be fully degreased. For serviceable/slip-fit assemblies that must be dismantled use 641; for high-temperature use 620.
