Certifications & Standards
Material certificates (EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2), classification societies (DNV, ABS, LR, BV, RINA, CCS, KR, NK, RMRS), ATEX / IECEx, MED wheelmark, PED, IMPA / ISSA codes.
EN 10204 material certificates are available on parts where the OEM holds them: type 2.1 (declaration of compliance), type 2.2 (test report), type 3.1 (inspection certificate by the manufacturer), and type 3.2 (counter-signed by an independent inspector or class surveyor). The product page indicates which certificate type the OEM holds.
Class-society approvals cover DNV (Det Norske Veritas), ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, RINA, ClassNK, KR (Korean Register), CCS (China Classification Society), and RMRS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping). The approval scope is OEM-specific; cBallast can supply the certificate referenced on the product page where the buyer needs it for ship-survey records.
Hazardous-area parts carry ATEX (EU directive 2014/34/EU) and IECEx (international scheme) certification. Marine pollution-prevention equipment carries MED wheelmark (EU directive 2014/90/EU). Pressure equipment carries PED conformity (EU directive 2014/68/EU). Where the OEM also assigns an IMPA or ISSA code, that code appears on the product page as an alternate cross-reference identifier.
