Sourcing Policy
OEM, authorised distributor, vetted cross-reference. Counterfeit-risk handling. What we don't source from.
cBallast sources industrial spare parts — including obsolete, discontinued and hard-to-find components — beyond our online catalog of 9,000+ SKUs. If a part isn't listed, send the part number, OEM code or drawing to sales@cballast.com and we source it through our OEM and authorised-distributor network. Our catalog is updated continuously.
Sourcing preference order — first OEM directly; second, the OEM's authorised distributor network; third, a vetted cross-reference equivalent where the OEM line is discontinued, restricted by export controls, or has lead times incompatible with the buyer's operational window. Each product page indicates which tier the listing falls in.
Where a part is not in the catalog, cBallast sources through the same OEM and authorised-distributor network. For obsolete or discontinued parts, the procurement team works through superseded part-number chains, last-time-buy stocks held by distributors, and OEM-authorised rebuild paths. Send the part number, OEM code, drawing or photograph to sales@cballast.com.
cBallast does not source from anonymous marketplaces or consumer-facing e-commerce platforms. Counterfeit-risk parts (particularly bearings, hydraulic seals and electrical components) are sourced exclusively through OEM-traceable channels.
