Loctite Controlled-Strength Retaining Compound Yellow 50ml

Loctite 641 is a one-component anaerobic retaining compound for the bonding of cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where disassembly is required for later service operations. It develops a controlled medium strength so that parts can be separated with standard hand tools. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. Typical applications include the retention of bearings onto shafts and into housings.

specific gravity @ 25 degC 1.07; viscosity Brookfield RVT 25 degC spindle 2 / 2.5 rpm 1,215 to 2,750 mPa.s (cP), spindle 2 / 20 rpm 400 to 800 mPa.s; viscosity EN 12092 MV 25 degC after 180 s, shear rate 277 s-1, 90 to 180 mPa.s.
