Loctite 268 is a high-strength anaerobic threadlocker supplied as a wax-like semi-solid in a self-feeding stick applicator. It develops cured properties in the absence of air when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces. It works on active metals such as brass and copper and on passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces, and is suited to applications where a liquid product would be too fluid to stay on the part, including overhead and vertical work.
