Loctite SF 7800 (known as Loctite 7800) is a solvent-based zinc-and-aluminium-in-resin aerosol that lays down a cathodic corrosion-protective coating on ferrous metal at room temperature. It is used to touch up metal parts after welding, to give long-term protection to metal assemblies, and to restore protection to repaired galvanized parts such as crash barriers, tubes, flanges, tanks and panels. The dried film is overpaintable.
