Loctite MR 5923 (known as Loctite 5923, Aviation Gasket Sealant) is a slow-drying, solvent-based liquid that seals close-fitting parts, machined surfaces and threaded connections. It dries to a pliable, tacky, semi-flexible film through solvent evaporation, so it works as a non-hardening gasket dressing on solid gaskets and on close-tolerance flanges. Typical uses include solid gasket dressing, machined faces, threaded connections, and aviation or engine assemblies where joints must stay serviceable.
