Danfoss FIA SS 25 strainer housing for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, store code 148B5493. Stainless-steel straightway body with butt-weld connections both ends to EN 10220 and a bolt-on cover. The FIA is an in-line strainer that protects downstream valves, pumps and compressors from pipe scale and weld debris; this is the pressure-containing housing (with cover) that takes a replaceable FIA INS strainer insert — available 100, 150, 250 and 500 micron, plain (ordered separately). Stainless construction suits corrosive and hygienic duties on R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Nominal size 25 mm (1 in); flow coefficient Kv 10.5 (µ100 plain) to 11.6 m3/h (µ500 plain). Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F).
