Danfoss FIA 80 strainer housing for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, store code 148B5907. Steel angleway body with butt-weld connections both ends to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 40 and a bolt-on cover. The FIA is an in-line strainer that protects downstream valves, pumps and compressors from pipe scale and weld debris; this is the pressure-containing housing (with cover) that takes a replaceable FIA INS strainer insert — available 150, 250 and 500 micron, plain or pleated (ordered separately). Suited to R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Nominal size 80 mm (3 in); flow coefficient Kv 104.6 (µ150 plain) to 139.7 m3/h (µ500 pleated).
