Danfoss KVD 12 receiver pressure regulator — 12 mm ODF solder solder, 3 – 20 bar, code 034L0176
Danfoss · HVAC & Refrigeration · Pressure Regulating Valves
Danfoss KVD 12 receiver pressure regulator (code 034L0176) from the Danfoss KVD range of mechanical, self-acting pressure regulating valves for commercial and light-industrial refrigeration. The KVD is a modulating receiver pressure regulator installed in the hot-gas bypass to the receiver. It opens on falling receiver pressure and bypasses hot gas to the receiver to maintain a constant minimum receiver pressure, ensuring a sufficient liquid pressure to the expansion valves during low ambient operation. It works together with the KVR condensing pressure regulator. This SKU has 12 mm ODF solder ODF solder connections (inlet and outlet), a regulating range of 3 – 20 bar (44 – 290 psig) and a maximum working pressure of 28 bar (406 psig); media temperature range -45 to 130 C (-49 to 266 F). Compact angle-design valve with hermetic brazed construction and a stainless-steel bellows; the setpoint is adjustable on the top spindle under a sealing cap and a 1/4 in Schrader valve is provided for pressure testing. Suitable for HFC/HFO refrigerants and hydrocarbons (incl. R290, R600a, R1270). UL listed (C UL US), EAC and RoHS. Price on quote.

Compatibility
Select a KVD by body size (KVD 12 / 15), connection type (flare or ODF solder) and connection size. Flare and ODF-solder versions, and inch versus metric ODF stubs, are separate code numbers with separate EANs — confirm the connection before ordering. The KVD is normally paired with a KVR condensing pressure regulator. Setpoint is adjustable on the top spindle under the sealing cap.
