Danfoss KVL 10 crankcase pressure regulator — 3/8 in ODF solder, 0.2 – 6 bar, code 034L1180
Danfoss · HVAC & Refrigeration · Pressure Regulating Valves
Danfoss KVL 10 crankcase pressure regulator (code 034L1180) is the smallest body size in the Danfoss KVL range of mechanical, self-acting pressure regulating valves for commercial and light-industrial refrigeration. The KVL is installed in the suction line before the compressor and limits (throttles) the crankcase pressure to a constant, adjustable maximum during pull-down and after defrost or after a hot-start, protecting the compressor motor against overload. This SKU has 3/8 in ODF solder connections (inlet and outlet), a regulating range of 0.2 – 6 bar (3 – 87 psig) and a maximum working pressure of 18 bar (260 psig); media temperature range -60 to 130 C (-76 to 266 F). Kv value 3.2 m3/h; factory setting 2 bar (29 psig). Compact angle-design valve with hermetic brazed construction and a stainless-steel bellows; the setpoint is adjustable on the top spindle under a sealing cap. Suitable for HFC/HFO refrigerants. UL listed (C UL US), EAC and RoHS. Price on quote.

Compatibility
Select a KVL by body size (KVL 10 / 12 / 15 / 22 / 28 / 35), connection type (flare or ODF solder) and connection size. KVL 10 is the smallest size, 3/8 in ODF solder only. Flare and ODF-solder versions, and inch versus metric ODF stubs, are separate code numbers with separate EANs — confirm the connection before ordering. Factory setting and regulating range are adjustable on the top spindle under the sealing cap.
