Danfoss KVD 12 receiver pressure controller (code 034L0176) from the Danfoss KVD range of mechanical, self-acting pressure regulating valves for commercial and light-industrial refrigeration. The KVD is a modulating receiver pressure controller installed in the hot-gas bypass to the receiver. It opens on falling receiver pressure and bypasses hot gas to the receiver to maintain a constant minimum receiver pressure, ensuring a sufficient liquid pressure to the expansion valves during low ambient operation. It works together with the KVR condensing pressure controller. This SKU has 12 mm ODF solder ODF solder connections (inlet and outlet), a regulating range of 3 – 20 bar (44 – 290 psig) and a maximum working pressure of 28 bar (406 psig); media temperature range -45 to 130 C (-49 to 266 F).
