Loctite SI 5910 one-component oxime silicone (RTV) flange sealant for form-in-place gasketing of flexible machined or cast metal and plastic flanges, with resistance to automotive engine oils and high joint movement. Black thixotropic paste, 300 ml cartridge.

Oxime silicone, black thixotropic paste; one-component room-temperature-vulcanizing (RTV) moisture-cured flange sealant for form-in-place gasketing of flexible flanges with machined or cast faces (metal or plastic). Typical applications are stamped sheet-metal covers such as timing covers and oil sumps where oil resistance and tolerance of high joint movement are required; the thixotropic nature reduces migration of product after application. Resistant to automotive engine oils. Gap fill up to 1 mm (0.039 in) with cure-through volume of 2.75 mm (0.108 in) in 24 h. Specific gravity 1.34 at 20 degC; tensile strength at 100% elongation 0.6 to 1.0 N/mm2; lap-shear strength tested per ISO 4587. Operating temperature -54 to +200 degC.
