Loctite 603 oil-tolerant anaerobic retaining compound for bonding close-fitting cylindrical parts such as bearings, bushings and shafts into housings. Low viscosity for slip- and press-fit assemblies. Green, 50 ml bottle. Henkel IDH 231099.
Technical Specifications
- Chemical type
- methacrylate ester, one-component anaerobic retaining compound that cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal parts. Appearance: green liquid. Viscosity approx 90 to 180 mPa.s (25 degC). Maximum diametral gap fill 0.10 mm; optimum fit 0.025 to 0.08 mm. Oil-tolerant -- cures where consistently clean surfaces cannot be assured. Compressive shear strength approx 1960 to 3260 psi (13.5 to 22.5 N/mm2) tested per ISO 10123. Operating temperature -55 to +150 degC. Henkel IDH 231099, 50 ml bottle.
