Product Description
Loctite 569 anaerobic thread sealant for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings; cures confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and resists loosening and leakage from shock and vibration.
Technical Specifications
- Technology anaerobic; chemical type dimethacrylate ester; brown liquid (uncured). One component; primary anaerobic cure with secondary cure. Specific gravity 1.1 @ 25 degC; viscosity (Cannon-Fenske, ISO 3104) 300 to 500 mPa.s. Breakaway and prevailing torque tested per ISO 10964 (3/8 x 24 steel nuts/bolts grade 2); coefficient of thermal expansion per ISO 11359-2, thermal conductivity per ISO 8302. Designed for hydraulic and pneumatic metal pipe/fitting connections. Not for pure-oxygen / oxygen-rich systems or strong oxidisers. Operating temperature -55 to +150 degC. 50 ml bottle.
