Danfoss REG-SB SS 20 straightway hand-operated regulating (throttling) valve for industrial-refrigeration line service, code 148B5390. REG-SB carries the B-cone for the higher of the two REG flow characteristics; the SS designation is the stainless-steel body for improved corrosion resistance on CO2 (R744) and ammonia (R717) duty. This straightway body carries butt-weld inlet and outlet to EN 10220, size 3/4 in (20 mm) — distinct from the ASME Sch40 straightway (148B6488) and the long-neck REG-SB SS HL 20 (148B5951). Stainless steel body and connections; regulating cone with embossed one-way flow arrow; maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F); Kv 5 m3/h (Cv 5.8 gal/min). Cap operated. Suits HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 and R744 systems.
