Danfoss FIA 25 angleway strainer (filter) housing for industrial-refrigeration line service, code 148B5444. The FIA housing takes a replaceable filter insert and removes particles from the refrigerant flow to protect downstream valves and controls. This angleway body carries butt weld inlet and outlet to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 80, size 1 in (25 mm) — distinct from the EN 10220 angleway and the straightway FIA 25 codes. Steel body; embossed one-way flow arrow; maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Supplied with cover. Suits HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. The filter insert is ordered separately by mesh/micron rating.
