Danfoss KVP 35 evaporator pressure regulator (code 034L0032) from the Danfoss KVP range of mechanical, self-acting pressure regulating valves for commercial and light-industrial refrigeration. The KVP is installed in the suction line after the evaporator and maintains a constant, adjustable minimum evaporating pressure by modulating (throttling) the suction gas flow. It holds a constant evaporator surface temperature, protects against an evaporating pressure that falls too low (for example freeze protection on a water chiller), and lets several evaporators run at different evaporating pressures on one compressor. This SKU has 35 mm (1 3/8 in) ODF solder ODF solder connections (inlet and outlet), a regulating range of 0 – 5.5 bar (0 – 80 psig) and a maximum working pressure of 18 bar (260 psig); media temperature range -45 to 130 C (-49 to 266 F). Compact angle-design valve with hermetic brazed construction and a stainless-steel bellows; the setpoint is adjustable on the top spindle under a sealing cap and a 1/4 in Schrader valve is provided for pressure testing.
