Danfoss KVL 12 crankcase pressure regulator — 12 mm ODF solder solder, 0.2 – 6 bar, code 034L0048
Danfoss · HVAC & Refrigeration · Pressure Regulating Valves
Danfoss KVL 12 crankcase pressure regulator (code 034L0048) from the Danfoss KVL range of mechanical, self-acting pressure regulating valves for commercial and light-industrial refrigeration. The KVL is installed in the suction line ahead of the compressor and limits the crankcase (suction) pressure to the compressor. It throttles the suction pressure during pull-down after start-up, after hot-gas defrost or after a prolonged standstill, protecting the compressor motor against overload from an excessive suction pressure. This SKU has 12 mm ODF solder ODF solder connections (inlet and outlet), a regulating range of 0.2 – 6 bar (3 – 87 psig) and a maximum working pressure of 18 bar (260 psig); media temperature range -60 to 130 C (-76 to 266 F). Compact angle-design valve with hermetic brazed construction and a stainless-steel bellows; the setpoint is adjustable on the top spindle under a sealing cap and a 1/4 in Schrader valve is provided for pressure testing. Suitable for HFC/HFO refrigerants and hydrocarbons (incl. R290, R600a, R1270). UL listed (C UL US), EAC and RoHS. Price on quote.

Compatibility
Select a KVL by body size (KVL 12 / 15 / 22 / 28 / 35), connection type (flare or ODF solder) and connection size. Flare and ODF-solder versions, and inch versus metric ODF stubs, are separate code numbers with separate EANs — confirm the connection before ordering. The maximum permitted crankcase pressure is adjustable on the top spindle under the sealing cap.
