Danfoss KVR 12 condensing pressure regulator (code 034L0091) from the Danfoss KVR range of mechanical, self-acting pressure regulating valves for commercial and light-industrial refrigeration. The KVR is installed in the liquid line at the condenser outlet and maintains a constant minimum condensing pressure. In air-cooled systems it holds the condensing pressure up during low ambient temperature so the expansion valve keeps a sufficient pressure differential; it is normally combined with an NRD differential check valve fitted in the hot-gas bypass to the receiver. This SKU has 12 mm (1/2 in) flare connections (inlet and outlet), a regulating range of 5 – 17.5 bar (73 – 254 psig) and a maximum working pressure of 28 bar (406 psig); media temperature range -45 to 130 C (-49 to 266 F). Compact angle-design valve with hermetic brazed construction and a stainless-steel bellows; the setpoint is adjustable on the top spindle under a sealing cap and a 1/4 in Schrader valve is provided for pressure testing. Select a KVR by body size (KVR 12 / 15 / 22 / 28 / 35), connection type (flare or ODF solder) and connection size. Flare and ODF-solder versions, and inch versus metric ODF stubs, are separate code numbers with separate EANs — confirm the connection before ordering. The KVR is normally paired with an NRD differential valve for condenser/receiver pressure control at low ambient. Setpoint is adjustable on the top spindle under the sealing cap.
