Danfoss FIA 80 strainer housing for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, store code 148B5905. Steel angleway body with butt-weld connections both ends to EN 10220 and a bolt-on cover. The FIA is an in-line strainer that protects downstream valves, pumps and compressors from pipe scale and weld debris; this is the pressure-containing housing (with cover) that takes a replaceable FIA INS strainer insert — available in 38, 72, 100, 150, 250 and 500 micron, plain or pleated (ordered separately). Suited to R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Nominal size 80 mm (3 in); flow coefficient Kv 80.0 (µ150 plain) to 113.1 m3/h (µ500 plain).
