Zerust/Excor ICT Pipe Strips PS2-16 is a residue-free vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) emitter strip for the interior surfaces of larger ferrous and non-ferrous pipes and tubes during shipment, storage or work-in-progress. It is a 40 ft (12 m) plastic strip carrying 16 Zerust ICT Vapor Capsules spaced on 2.5 ft (76 cm) centers, sized for pipes 12–24 in (30–60 cm) in diameter. Feed the strip into the bore along the pipe length and cap the ends; the capsules diffuse invisible, odorless, non-toxic VCI molecules that settle onto the interior metal surface and dissipate on uncapping, allowing the pipe or tube to be put to use or further processed without cleaning. Protects multimetal (ferrous and non-ferrous) surfaces for up to 1 year and may be combined with Zerust rust-preventive liquids for longer storage.
