Product Description
Sensor cable for Trojan ultraviolet intensity sensors of the 20 mA = 100 W scaling. It carries the sensor’s 4-20 mA current loop back to the controller. A current loop is used precisely so that the reading does not drift with cable length or contact resistance, but that only holds while the cable and its glands are intact: water ingress at a sensor connector shows up as an intensity reading that wanders or reads low, which is easily mistaken for a failing lamp or a fouled sleeve.
