Product Description
Loctite LB 8012 solid-film lubricant paste containing 65 percent molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). Dark grey paste that reduces friction on threaded fasteners, press fits, slip fits, splines and gears, lowering the torque needed for a given clamp load and easing disassembly. Stays in place under heat, load and vibration. 8 oz (227 g) can. Henkel IDH 234227 / order no. 51048.

Used on bolts, nuts and studs, press fits (no binding or stick-slip), slip fits, metalworking dies, splines and gears under high static or slow-moving loads. Operating range -29 to +400 degC (-20 to +750 degF). NLGI grade 1.
