Loctite 272 high-strength, high-temperature red threadlocker for permanent locking and sealing of large bolts and studs (M25 and larger). Used by maintenance technicians and installation crews across industrial, marine and construction service.
Technical Specifications
- Acrylic dimethacrylate ester, red-orange liquid; high-strength threadlocker; one component, anaerobic cure (activator secondary), medium viscosity. Permanent locking and sealing of large threaded fasteners (M25 and larger); resists loosening/leakage from shock and vibration. Specific gravity 1.11; operating temperature -55 to +200 degC (hot strength tested 72 h at 200 degC per ISO 10964); compressive shear strength per ISO 10123. 50 ml bottle (item 27240, IDH 88442).
