Product Description
Danfoss SNV-SS stop needle valve for industrial-refrigeration service, code 148B4771. The SNV series is a hand-operated stop/needle service valve used for gauge, purge, charging and isolation points on refrigeration plant; it has a sturdy back-seating (metal-to-metal) spindle, needs no specific flow direction (bi-flow) and gives favourable, throttleable flow characteristics. This SKU has 1/4 in NPT male x 1/4 in NPT female connections. Housing and bonnet are stainless steel, built to the Pressure Equipment Directive and the usual classification-authority requirements. Maximum working pressure 65 bar (943 psig); media temperature range -60 to 200 C (-76 to 392 F). Applicable to HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2). Connection thread standard ANSI/ASME B1.20.1. The stainless-steel SNV-SS suits corrosive duty and higher pressure/temperature service than the steel SNV-ST. Specifications per Danfoss store code 148B4771. Used in commercial refrigeration, provision-room cooling and reefer plant rooms across HFC, HFO and CO2 (R744) refrigerants.
