Danfoss REG-SB 15 hand-operated regulating valve, store code 148B5205, angleway body. REG-SA and REG-SB are straightway or angleway hand-operated regulating (throttling) valves in the Danfoss SVL Flexline range for industrial refrigeration. The regulating cone gives precise manual flow adjustment; a back-seating spindle lets the packing be replaced under operation, and a fitted cap provides a second seal against the atmosphere. REG-SA carries the fine-regulation cone (lower Kv) and REG-SB the larger regulating cone (higher Kv) for the same nominal size, so the type is selected by the required flow coefficient. Body and bonnet are special cold-resistant steel. Applicable to R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Maximum working pressure 52 bar g (754 psig); working temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Conformity assessment per the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, Article 4, paragraph 3 (sound engineering practice), fluid group 1. This code is nominal size DN 15 (1/2 in) with socket weld connections to ASME B 16.11; regulating flow coefficient Kv 5 m3/h (Cv 5.8). Net weight 1.72 kg.
