Danfoss REG-SA 15 hand-operated regulating valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5214. The REG-SA is a manually-operated, globe-pattern regulating (throttling) valve; it acts as a normal shut-off valve in the closed position and as an adjustable throttle when open. It carries the A cone (fine, near-linear throttling); the cone is positioned on the spindle and read against an outer scale for repeatable manual setting, and the vented cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. This SKU is the straightway body in 15 mm (1/2 in) socket weld connections to ASME B 16.11. Flow coefficient Kv 1.5 m3/h (Cv 1.75 gal/min); flow area 36 mm2 (0.056 in2). Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Steel construction for HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Built on the SVL Flexline modular platform — the complete top part is interchangeable, so a REG body can be converted to another SVL Flexline function by changing the insert. REG-SA and REG-SB differ only in cone characteristic; select REG-SA for expansion/fine regulation and REG-SB for higher capacity.

Socket-weld to ASME B 16.11 — confirm the mating connection before ordering. Where a 90-degree turn is required use the angleway version of the same size. Shares the SVL Flexline platform with SVA-S/SVA-L shut-off and SCA-X check & stop valves; the complete top part is interchangeable.
