Danfoss REG-SA 15 hand-operated regulating valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5214. The REG-SA is a manually-operated, globe-pattern regulating (throttling) valve; it acts as a normal shut-off valve in the closed position and as an adjustable throttle when open. It carries the A cone (fine, near-linear throttling); the cone is positioned on the spindle and read against an outer scale for repeatable manual setting, and the vented cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. This SKU is the straightway body in 15 mm (1/2 in) socket weld connections to ASME B 16.11. Flow coefficient Kv 1.5 m3/h (Cv 1.75 gal/min); flow area 36 mm2 (0.056 in2). Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Steel construction for HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems.
