Zerust/Excor ActivDri PWA5 is a dual-action moisture-control and vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) sachet that protects metal parts, electronics and electrical components from humidity and airborne contaminants during operation, shipping and storage. It diffuses invisible, odorless, non-toxic VCI molecules that settle onto exposed metal surfaces and dissipate on opening, allowing immediate painting, welding or further processing, while its desiccant action controls moisture inside the enclosure. The PWA5 size protects ferrous metals, aluminum, silver and yellow metals for up to 12 months in a sealed enclosure (up to 3.5 ft³ (0.1 m³)). Complies with Global Automotive Declarable Substance, TSCA, REACH, RoHS and TRGS615. Sold 1,000/case. Note: ActivDri VCI chemistry affects humidity-sensor accuracy, so data loggers cannot measure enclosure humidity during a shipment. Zerust part number 375-M-00212.
