Loctite 290 Wicking Grade Threadlocker Green 50ml

Loctite 290 low-viscosity wicking-grade threadlocker that penetrates engaged threads by capillary action, so it can be applied to fasteners already in service without disassembly. Green, 50 ml bottle. Used by maintenance technicians and installation crews across industrial, marine and construction service.

Dimethacrylate ester, green liquid; one-component anaerobic wicking-grade threadlocker. Low viscosity and capillary action wick the adhesive between engaged threads, so pre-assembled fasteners can be secured without disassembly; also seals porosity in welds, castings and powdered-metal parts. Cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Compressive shear strength on steel pins and collars 5.4 N/mm2 (780 psi) per ISO 10123; breakaway and prevailing torque per ISO 10964; operating temperature -55 to +150 degC.
