Function TR40 automatic snow-melt controller for gutter and downpipe heating cables, housed in an IP55 enclosure of 100 x 100 x 100 mm and switching up to 16 A at 15 V control-contact rating. An external resistance-type sensor detects moisture and low temperature to enable the heating circuit only when snow or ice formation is likely. Supplied in packs of 10.
