Danfoss SV 4 float valve, code 027B2024 — modulating liquid-level regulating (float) valve for industrial refrigeration using HCFC, HFC or R717 (ammonia). The float senses liquid level and modulates the orifice to hold a constant level. Flow coefficient Kv 0.23 m3/h (Cv 0.27). Maximum working pressure 28 bar (406 psig); maximum differential pressure 23 bar (334 psi). Inlet 21.8 mm; balance-pipe weld connection 1 in. Steel body, connections and float housing. Media temperature -50 to 120 C (-58 to 248 F). PED category II.

Compatibility
SV 4/5/6 are the larger all-steel float valves (higher differential, media to 120 C). SV 4 can serve as a pilot for the PMFL low-pressure control system. Match orifice/Kv and differential pressure to the level-control duty per the SV data sheet before ordering.
