Danfoss REG-SB 40 hand-operated regulating (throttling) valve, store code 148B5605, angleway steel body. The REG-SA (small flow area) and REG-SB (large flow area) are precision regulating valves in the SVL Flexline range used to set liquid, suction, hot-gas and oil flow in industrial refrigeration; a scaled spindle gives repeatable manual throttling and the back-seating spindle allows the packing to be serviced in operation. Nominal size 40 mm (1 1/2 in), socket weld connections to ASME B 16.11; flow coefficient Kv 20 m3/h (Cv 23.12 gal/min). Steel housing. Maximum working pressure 52 bar g (754 psig); media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Conformity assessment PED 2014/68/EU, Category II (DN 40).
