Danfoss REG-SA SS 25 hand-operated regulating valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B6483. The REG-SA SS is a manually-operated, globe-pattern regulating (throttling) valve in a stainless-steel housing; it acts as a normal shut-off valve in the closed position and as an adjustable throttle when open. It carries the A cone (fine, near-linear throttling); the cone is positioned on the spindle and read against an outer scale for repeatable manual setting, and the vented cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. This SKU is the angleway body in 25 mm (1 in) butt-weld connections to ASME B 36.19M Schedule 40. Flow coefficient Kv 7 m3/h (Cv 8.1 gal/min). Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Stainless-steel construction suits corrosive-duty and stainless-piped HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Built on the SVL Flexline modular platform: the complete top part is interchangeable so a REG-SA SS / REG-SB SS body can be converted to another SVL Flexline function (shut-off, check & stop, check valve or strainer) by changing the insert. REG-SA SS and REG-SB SS differ only in cone characteristic; select REG-SA SS for expansion/fine regulation and REG-SB SS for higher capacity at the same nominal size.

Select by cone characteristic (REG-SA SS = A cone fine regulation; REG-SB SS = B cone higher capacity), nominal size (25 mm / 1 in), body (angleway) and connection standard (ASME B 36.19M Schedule 40 butt weld). EN 10220 (DIN) and ASME B 36.19M (stainless schedule) weld-end preparations are not interchangeable — confirm the mating pipe schedule before ordering. The angleway body has inlet and outlet at 90 degrees; where an in-line fit is required use the straightway version of the same size. Shares the SVL Flexline platform with SVA-S/SVA-L shut-off valves and CHV-X/SCA-X check valves; the complete top part is interchangeable across the platform.
