Danfoss MBT 5560 insertion temperature transmitter, code 084Z4090 (type designation MBT 5560-0000-0080-16-110). Compact temperature sensor with an integrated 2-wire, loop-powered transmitter that converts the resistance of a built-in Pt 1000 platinum element into a standardized 4-20 mA signal, so a defined temperature is transmitted directly without a separate head or rail transmitter. For engine cooling water, lubricating and hydraulic oil, compressor, refrigeration and HVAC/R circuits, and marine and industrial plant. Insertion length 80 mm; M 18 x 1.5 male (ISO 965) process connection; AISI 316 Ti stainless-steel protection tube, 8 mm dia. Element measuring range -50 to +200 C (-58 to +392 F). Output 4-20 mA (2-wire) over a 0 to +100 C span; supply 10-32 V DC. Electrical connection: Angular connector, Pg 9 (EN 175301-803-A), male and female. IP65 enclosure per IEC 60529. The built-in transmitter is factory-scaled to a 0 to +100 C output span. Supplied in a 13-piece multipack. CE marked.

MBT 5560 sensor with factory built-in transmitter — the 4-20 mA (2-wire) 0 to +100 C span is preset by the type designation and is not field-rangeable on the standard version. Confirm the required insertion length (80 mm), process thread (M 18 x 1.5), electrical connector and supply match the pocket/thermowell and controller input before ordering. A matching thermowell can be ordered separately.
