Danfoss FIA 50 straightway strainer housing for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5713. The FIA is an in-line strainer fitted ahead of automatic controls, pumps and compressors to protect them from weld scale, swarf and dirt — at initial plant start-up and, with a fine insert, for permanent filtration. This SKU is the steel housing with bolted cover, 50 mm (2 in) butt weld connections to EN 10220. The filter element is the separate FIA INS strainer insert (available 38, 72, 100, 150, 250 and 500 micron, plain or pleated) and is removed for cleaning without breaking the line connections. Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). For HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems.

Order the matching FIA INS strainer insert separately for the required filtration grade (coarse 500 micron for start-up clean-down; fine 38-150 micron for permanent filtration). Butt-weld and socket-weld bodies are not interchangeable — confirm the pipe-end preparation before ordering.
