Danfoss FIA 40 strainer (filter) housing for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, store code 148B5644, straightway steel body. The FIA holds a replaceable strainer insert that protects downstream components from dirt and weld slag during commissioning and operation; the insert is exchanged through a bolted cover. Nominal size 40 mm (1 1/2 in), butt weld connections to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 80. Steel housing for R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). With the µ100 plain insert the flow coefficient Kv is about 19.2 m3/h. The FIA INS strainer insert (38/72/100/150/250/500 micron, plain or pleated) is ordered separately. Conformity assessment PED 2014/68/EU, Category II (DN 40).
