Zerust ICT Plastabs vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) emitter tabs — thin, light, rigid polyethylene diffusers for protecting metal surfaces inside electronics, equipment and bulk part packaging. Dispersed through a sealed enclosure, each tab diffuses invisible, odorless, non-toxic VCI molecules that settle onto exposed metal; on opening the enclosure the VCI dissipates so parts can be painted, welded or processed without cleaning. Protects ferrous metals for up to 2 years in a sealed enclosure, with limited aluminium and yellow-metal protection when used as instructed (do not place in direct contact with aluminium, copper, brass or zinc). This 0.75 in size carries an optional peel-adhesive backing that affixes the tab to most surfaces — for example inside a control-panel or electronics enclosure. Size 0.75 in × 0.75 in; coverage up to 0.2 ft³ (0.006 m³). Supplied as a case of 1,000. Zerust part number 425-M-00004.
