Zerust/Excor Axxanol Spray-G is a sprayable, grease-based rust-preventative coating for protecting metal parts, equipment and assemblies during long-term indoor and outdoor storage and overseas shipping. It gives the protection of a grease in a sprayable form, leaves a removable film, and protects multimetal surfaces for up to 1 year outdoors and up to 2 years indoors. Coverage is 815 ft² (76 m²) per gallon at 2 mil wet film thickness; flashpoint 177°F (81°C) per ASTM D93; apply at 50–122°F (10–50°C). The coating is removed with Zerust AxxaWash, alkaline or solvent cleaner. It contains no intentional barium or heavy metals and complies with Global Automotive Declarable Substance, TSCA, RoHS and REACH SVHC requirements. Carries Caterpillar material-spec approvals 1E4967B–F and 1E4973. Supplied as aerosol can 12 oz (355 ml), 12 cans per case. Zerust part number 350-M-00023AC.
