Zerust/Excor ActivDri CAP-50A is a dual-action moisture-control and vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) capsule for enclosed industrial and electrical applications. It combines a high-capacity desiccant — which absorbs up to 100% of its weight in moisture — with a moisture-activated VCI release that responds to rising humidity, so it both lowers humidity and forms a protective molecular layer on exposed metal. The VCI chemistry is invisible, odorless, non-toxic and dissipates on opening, allowing immediate painting, welding or further processing. An adhesive backing secures the capsule in any position inside the enclosure. The multimetal chemistry protects ferrous metals (carbon steel, silicon steel, stainless steel, cast iron), aluminum, silver and yellow metals. Coverage up to 35 ft³ (1 m³) for up to 1 year. The outer shell is FSC-certified recycled cardboard; the product complies with Global Automotive Declarable Substance, TSCA, REACH, RoHS and TRGS615 requirements. Supplied as a case of 60.
