Product Description
Threaded wiper rod for the automatic quartz sleeve wiper of a Trojan ultraviolet reactor. The rod is the drive element of the wiper: the motor turns it, and the thread converts that rotation into the linear travel that carries the wiper carriage along the sleeves. An ACME (trapezoidal) thread form is used rather than a vee thread because it carries the axial load of the stroke and tolerates the wet, lightly fouled environment inside a UV chamber.
