Wear pad from the quartz sleeve wiper assembly of a Trojan ultraviolet reactor. It is a sacrificial part by design: it takes the sliding contact between the moving wiper carriage and its track so that the machined parts either side of it do not, and it is expected to be replaced periodically as part of a wiper service.
