Product Description
Melbye AKK 400-12 — aluminium-copper (AlCu) bimetallic compression cable lug for terminating a 400 mm² aluminium conductor onto an M12 stud. The aluminium barrel is friction-welded to a copper palm from solid material, so an aluminium conductor connects directly to a copper busbar or apparatus terminal without a separate bimetal washer. Two compression crimps are made on the aluminium barrel; accepts solid (IEC 60228 Class 1) and stranded (Class 2) aluminium conductors.
