Loctite 222 low-strength purple threadlocker for adjustment screws, set screws and low-strength substrates that may fracture on disassembly (aluminium, brass). 50 ml bottle. Used by maintenance technicians and installation crews across industrial, marine and construction service.
Technical Specifications
- Dimethacrylate ester, purple; one-component anaerobic low-strength threadlocker for threaded fasteners up to M36. Allows disassembly with hand tools and is intended for adjustment screws, countersunk and set screws, and low-strength metals (aluminium, brass) that could fracture during removal; suitable on passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated parts. Thixotropic; operating temperature -55 to +150 degC; specific gravity approx 1.05; tested per ISO 10964 / ASTM D5363. Henkel order no. 21464 / IDH 231127, 50 ml bottle.
