Danfoss SVL 20 multifunction valve body for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B6746. This is the bare valve housing (body only, without function module): it is soldered permanently into the line and then converted to any SVL Flexline function — shut-off (SVA-S/SVA-L), regulating (REG-SA/REG-SB), check & stop (SCA-X) or check (CHV-X) — by fitting the corresponding function module (complete top part). Keeping a common body across functions lets a plant standardise on one housing and change the valve duty later without re-soldering. This SKU is the straightway body with 22 mm solder connections to EN 1254-5. Bi-flow body; maximum working pressure 65 bar (943 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Steel construction suits HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Straightway bodies place the inlet and outlet in line. Order the matching SVL function module separately for the required duty and nominal size.

The same soldered body accepts any SVL Flexline function module of the matching size, so the valve duty (shut-off / regulating / check & stop / check) is set by the top part fitted, not by the body. Solder and butt-weld housings are separate codes and are not interchangeable; ASME B16.22 (imperial) and EN 1254-5 (metric) solder ends are also separate codes — confirm the mating pipe standard before ordering. Angleway and straightway bodies of the same size share the function-module range.
