Danfoss SVL 15 multifunction valve body for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5258. This is the bare valve housing (body only, without function module) in a low-temperature steel casting; it is welded or threaded permanently into the line and then converted to any SVL Flexline function — shut-off (SVA-S/SVA-L), regulating (REG-SA/REG-SB), check & stop (SCA-X) or check (CHV-X) — by fitting the corresponding function module (complete top part). Keeping a common body across functions lets a plant standardise on one housing and change the valve duty later. This SKU is the angleway body with 15 mm (1/2 in) NPT threaded connections. Bi-flow body; maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Steel construction suits HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Angleway bodies place the inlet and outlet at 90 degrees; NPT female-threaded ends mate to NPT pipe (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1). The same body accepts any SVL Flexline function module of the matching size, so the valve duty (shut-off / regulating / check & stop / check) is set by the top part fitted, not by the body. Butt-weld, socket-weld and NPT-threaded housings are separate codes and are not interchangeable; EN (DIN) and ASME variants are also separate codes — confirm the mating pipe standard before ordering. Straightway and angleway bodies of the same size share the function-module range.
