Danfoss SVA-L 40 hand-operated shut-off (stop) valve, store code 148B5640, angleway steel body fitted with a hand wheel. The SVA-L is a shut-off valve in the Danfoss SVL Flexline range for industrial refrigeration, used to isolate liquid, suction, hot-gas and oil lines. The globe-pattern body uses a back-seating spindle so the packing can be serviced while the plant stays in operation, and the seal cap plus spindle packing gives double sealing to atmosphere; shut-off is bi-directional (bi-flow). Applicable to R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Nominal size 40 mm (1 1/2 in), butt weld connections to EN 10220; flow coefficient Kv 45.2 m3/h (Cv 52.25 gal/min). Steel housing. Maximum working pressure 52 bar g (754 psig); media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Conformity assessment PED 2014/68/EU, Category II (DN 40). Specifications per Danfoss store code 148B5640.

EN 10220 and ASME weld-end preparations are not interchangeable — confirm the mating pipe schedule before ordering.
